Day 1 SaturdaySalher-Salota Fort

05:00 – Reach base village, Salherwadi Village.
06:45 – Group introduction & briefing about the trek.
07:00 – Breakfast+Tea. Commence trek to “Salher Fort”.
Flag Hosting. Explore the Fort.
13:00 – Lunch at Salota balcony. Explore the Fort.
16:00 – Descend back & reach caves.
Free time. Enjoy Sunset from Rudramaal.
Stay in caves
19:00 – Dinner and session about Salher some stories from our history.
21:30 – Day stumps.

Day 2 SundayHistorical Salher

05:00 – Wakeup Call & get freshen up.
05:45 – Ascend towards Sahyadri Mastak, Parshuram Temple: 2nd highest point in Sahyadri, to enjoy mesmerizing sunrise behind Dolbari range.
07:30 – Reach back & Breakfast.
08:30 – Exploring remaining Salher Fort on our way back.
13:00 – After visiting the number of fortifications; reach back to Salherwadi
13:30 – Lunch.
14:30 – Travel to Pune via Nashik.
On our way back we will take a small break in picturesque Satmal range and for the cup of Tea.
21:00 – Reach Pune with Happy Memories & Non-Biodegradable waste.

Trek Essentials

Basic Gears

• Backpack (30-40 ltr.): A backpack with sturdy straps and a supporting frame.
• Trekking / Sports shoes in good condition. (require A good grip.)

Outdoor Apparels

• Full Sleeved & Collared T-shirts: To prevent sunburns on the neck and arms.
• Full Trekking Pants. (Avoid shorts & 3/4th.)
• Carry an extra pair of cloth; to use after the trek ends.
• Sweaters / Sweatshirt: To protect from cold at night.
• Thermals: Those who are more susceptible to cold can carry thermals to wear at night.
• Cap / Rain jackets / Warm wears / Windcheater. (Seasonal)
• Napkin or towel.


• Min. 3-4 ltr. Water/Hydration pack.
• Snacks: Fruits, Dry-fruits, Cookies & Chocolates, etc.
• Energy drink like electrolyte powder.
• Personal medicines, if any.


• Torch / Headlamp.
• Sunglasses, Cap, Trekking Pole, Camera etc.
• Extra slipper to use after the trek or at the campsite.
