Devkund Waterfall is a picturesque natural wonder located in Maharashtra, India. It is a popular trekking destination among nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The trek to Devkund waterfall offers a thrilling experience through dense forests, rocky terrains, and a scenic landscape.

There are very few perennial waterfalls in Maharashtra like Devkund Waterfall. The forest around the waterfall is beautifully green and dense with many species of animals and birds. Once you reach Devkund Waterfall you will be overwhelmed by its beauty and filled with joy.

Devkund waterfall is situated near the village of Bhira in Raigad district, Maharashtra. Bhira is approximately 120 km from Pune. The trekking distance to reach Devkund waterfall is around 8 to 10 km (round trip), this trek is considered to be of moderate level difficulty. It’s suitable for beginners but can be slightly challenging for those not accustomed to trekking.

The best time to visit Devkund waterfall and undertake the trek is during the monsoon season, which usually spans June to September. During this time, the waterfall is at its fullest and most mesmerizing.

Day-wise Schedule

Once you reach your pick-up point, mark your presence with the SG-Trekkers representative. Then we will travel by private bus to the starting point of the trek.

Day 1Devkund Falls Trek > Travel to Pune (4-5 hrs.)

Early in the morning, we reach Bhira village at the base of Devkund Waterfall.

04:00 – 06:30
Refresh yourself. (Washrooms are available)
Have breakfast & tea.
Our field experts will provide pre-trek information and instructions to all participants.

06:30 – 13:00
Now, we start the trek towards the Devkund Falls. The trail passes through lush green forests, river streams, and scenic landscapes, providing a refreshing experience.

In a short time, we can see the huge Devkund waterfall. This huge waterfall falls from two big rocks and attracts everyone’s attention. The stunning Devkund waterfall, with its crystal-clear water falling from a considerable height, is the main attraction of the trek. Several vantage points along the trail offer breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

After about 5-6 hours of experiencing the “Devkund Falls – Jungle Trek”; our trek will end at Bhira village.
