Gelgani - Mohri - Railing Plateau

Velhe is a tourist attraction place in Pune district. Traveller and adventurer come to this place to enjoy the nature throughout the year.
Highest fort in Pune district & very first fort captured by Shivaji Maharaja’s “Torna Fort aka Prachandgad” is also in Velhe.

Trail Type: Medium gradients.
The initial portion of this trek is a walk through the fields and crossing streams but once after crossing the forest the trek takes you to the base of the mountain and from here onwards the climb is quite stiff.
Our trek starts from the Gelgani village which 4 km from Velhe. Walking towards the west side from Gelgani village; that ridge ends at Mohri village which is the base village for Lingana.
We can visit the “Railing Plateau”.

08:30 – Group introduction & briefing about the trek.
09:30 – Commence trek from Velhe.
13:30 – Reach Railing Plateau. Explore the Surroundings.
14:30 – Trek ends at Mohri Village. Lunch break.
16:30 – Travel to Pune.
19:00 – Reach Pune with Happy Memories & Non-Biodegradable waste. 🙂
