Gopya Ghat is the trekking route connecting the Sangavi village in remote areas in the western part of Pune district and the famous Shivtharghal cave in Raigad district.

Visit Shivtharghal and Start to climb Gopya Ghat. After some time, we reach into the Sahyadri Wadi; A village situated on a plateau near the Gopya Ghat. Climb more 2 hr and we can reach the col that is the top of Gopya Ghat. After a few meters of a climbing march, you reach the col of Gopya Ghat. There is a water tank in the masonry structure.

After walking from here for 2 hours, we reach in Sangavi village. This route is close by near Velvandi river valley & Bhatghar dam backwater. Trek ends at Sangavi village.

The road from Bhor to Mahad, descends the Varandha Ghat. To the north lies this valley. The caves situated here are famous because of Saint Ramdas, Shivaji Maharaja’s guru, had written the famous Dasboth here.
There is a road to this place, so people are visiting this place throughout the year. The atmosphere here is pleasant in the rainy season; you can see the greenery in surroundings, paddy fields & huge waterfalls.
